The desktop app puts Siwar’s terminal and browser views in one window, with Claude Code built in. It runs on your machine, next to your repositories.

What you need

Desktop app

  • A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later).
  • A Claude or Codex account. Claude Code comes built in. For Codex, install the Codex CLI and Node.js.
  • git. GitHub CLI (gh) for pull requests.

CLI, from source

  • macOS or Linux, Node.js 22.18 or newer, and git.
  • A Claude or Codex account. Claude Code comes with npm install. For Codex, install the Codex CLI.

Run it from source

  1. Install Siwar from your team’s source checkout using npm install.
  2. Link the CLI with cd packages/core && npm link.
  3. From your project, open the dashboard:
siwar serve
